Construction Notes

Trevor Linden’s Snowy Creek townhome is one of Whistler’s most refined alpine renovations, combining Evoke International Design’s architectural clarity with Linden Construction’s technical execution. Located within the ski‑in/ski‑out Snowy Creek enclave, the residence was transformed through a comprehensive interior rebuild that re‑established structure, circulation, and material expression.

The renovation began with a full interior gut, allowing the design team to re‑engineer the home’s spatial logic. A new steel structural spine was introduced to support a cantilevered stair system an architectural centerpiece that required tight tolerances and precise coordination between steel fabrication and finish carpentry. This structural intervention unlocked a more open, vertical circulation path and created long interior sightlines uncommon in townhome typologies.

Materially, the home is defined by white oak paneling, custom millwork, and a restrained palette that balances alpine warmth with contemporary clarity. Wet areas were rebuilt as spa‑grade environments, integrating stone slabs, concealed drainage, and controlled lighting. Throughout the residence, Evoke’s detailing emphasizes clean junctions, disciplined lines, and a calm, modern atmosphere suited to both winter retreat and year‑round living.

The result is a townhome that feels architecturally elevated beyond its original form an alpine residence where structural ingenuity, refined materials, and precise craftsmanship converge under a unified design vision.
